You may say I’ve gone mad over an anime, like most anime lovers do, right? Well, that may be partially true. But I believe in universities, very few people graduate with satisfaction.
Why?
Because most of us think that universities don’t instill the life skills needed to ace what comes after university life.
So, why don’t we take inspiration from Naruto and see what valuable life lessons we can take from it? Plus, there’s nothing wrong if an anime, movie, or theater play teaches us anything, right?
In this article, we’re going to explore some best life lessons that universities may fail to teach us.
Without further ado, let’s get started.
- Always Dream Big
- Be Loyal to Your Friends
- Move On
- Don’t Fall for Quick Power

ToggleAlways Dream Big:
From the very first episode of Naruto to the last episode of Naruto Studentship, Naruto didn’t become the Hokage. However, it was something he always dreamed of and worked for.
It was in Boruto that Naruto actually realized his dream of becoming a Homage. His villagers, counterparts, and mentors didn’t like him. He was always looked down on by others simply because a nine-tailed beast was captured inside him.
We can’t say for sure that this behaviour didn’t affect him. However, did it become an obstacle to achieving his dreams?
Absolutely not.
So, the point is, don’t let others tell you what you’re capable of. Set your own limits, work how you like, and never lose sight of your dreams. Eventually, you’ll reach the pinnacle you worked and dreamed of.
Plus, for those who miss watching Naruto or aren’t watching Boruto, you’re missing out. It’s available on streaming platforms, and you can watch it online, too, provided you’re complemented by a top-notch connection like Spectrum.
Watching our favourite anime or shows, we don’t want any disruptions. And we’re well aware that buffering takes the fun out of any show or movie.

Be Loyal to Your Friends:
It’s a life lesson that life teaches us in one way or another. But wouldn’t it be better to learn it through a mentor?
Well, if you can’t find one at the university, Naruto can teach it, too, in a fun way.
Remember Team 7, consisting of Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi Sensei? Relying on your friends is one of the blessings we don’t count many times.
However, in Team 7’s case, they always have each other’s back. Aside from their personal differences, they don’t hold back when they have to work as a team. And that’s what makes them successful, too.
Move On:
Life doesn’t stop for anyone. Be it the death of your loved one or the birth, life moves on. So, why do we get to stuck at a certain moment in our lives?
In Naruto, many ninja warriors see their friends sacrificed to save the village. Particularly when the nine-tailed fox wreaked havoc on the Hidden Leaf Village, despite seeing their friends dying and screaming, they moved on.
Yes, they remembered them, but as heroes who sacrificed their lives to save others. Isn’t this the best approach we should all be following?
Moments of grief come, and they pass. So, there’s no need for us to take that grief to our graves.
Don’t Fall for Quick Power:
Orochimaru, wanting to become the ultimate ruler, took a wrong turn. On the other hand, characters like Naruto, Jiraya Sensei, or Lady Tsunade are etched in people’s minds because of their hard work.
Seeking out power to help others is commendable. However, when one’s motives aren’t aligned with everyone, one seeks power by every means. Eventually, they’re left alone, with no one to aid them in time of need.
Improvement Comes with Practice and Patience:
Many will debate that Sakura didn’t deserve to be a ninja. Well, I disagree with such people, respectfully.
Here’s why,
Sakura, with her healing ability, was one of the most important characters in the 4th Great Ninja War. Without her, many people, bloodied and wounded, wouldn’t survive. Moreover, Katsuyu, the healing slug, was summoned by Lady Tsunade and Sakura.
So, yes, Sakura didn’t show her ninja skills in most episodes. However, when it was needed the most, she took responsibility.
Improvement does take time, and overnight success may be a fluke. But, with consistent hard work and determination, like that of Sakura, you’re bound to succeed.
Bottom Line:
Naruto holds all the life lessons to succeed. Unlike most anime, Naruto is a treasure chest for anyone looking to improve themselves. So, whenever you’re down, with people mocking you around, work hard in silence and let the results make the noise.
